4U1ITU
In these days I’m in Geneva, Switzerland so, don’t want to lose the opportunity to operate with the pretty rare call 4U1ITU from the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) building.
This has been my first experience on the other side of the “pile-up”, and I was excited, but after few QSOs I was more comfortable and started to enjoy this experience.
In less than 2 hours I have made 98 QSOs around Europe.
I have operated in 40 meters band from 12 to 14 UTC.
It was a great experience and very amazing.
Many thanks to Attila (the ITU ham station manager) and to my wife Sara that came with me in the ITU building, she took some photos and let me operate… waiting with patience!
I will post some photos once I will be back to home.
