Preparing the antenna for IH9/IZ2LSC

Yesterday I prepared the vertical dipole for 17 m. that I want to use from Pantelleria AF-018.
The total length of the dipole is 790 cm and it's mounted on a fishing rod. I used a balun 1:1 from Siegfried DK9FN.
I tested it in my backyard near concrete wall and metallic objects, so it' not an optimal location but I want to find out the rough measure to facilitate the installation on the island.

Not so bad for now.

Pantelleria Island

From 20 to 31 July I will be QRV from Pantelleria Island (AF-018). Holiday style operation.
Equipment are Yaesu FT-857 (100W) and wire antennas.
I will work on HF band (except 160 and 80) SSB and digital modes.
I will take part also to the RSGB IOTA contest.
QSL request will be answered ONLY via Bureau (to my home call) and LOTW.
I will try to update my log online here (if I have a good internet connection from my location).
Otherwise it will be uploaded when I will be back.
